Our mission encourages doctors, nurses, and pharmacists to come and serve in Haiti on medical teams. These teams hold free medical clinics for the local community of Charrier. Volunteers raise funds to purchase medications and medical supplies to treat the community folks for various illnesses and diseases. This service is a blessing to our Haitian friends as many do not have the resources to pay for the much needed medical care and medications. Sometimes minor surgeries are performed under local anesthesia. In Haiti, minor injuries and illnesses turn into serious problems quickly. We encourage teams to hold educational seminars for the community to teach them in proper hygiene, simple first aid, importance of clean water, and education for sexually transmitted diseases.
We are in the process of raising funds for a much needed medical clinic in Charrier. Currently, the closest medical facility is over and hour away. For many folks in our village, transportation is difficult and costly. This clinic will be a great asset to the community. We’ve raised all but $7000.00 out of the projected $40,000.00 it will cost to contract this facility. Land has been purchased and construction is to begin in 2020. Please, would you prayerfully consider donating to this project?
